*The puppy is in good health at the time of sale. The buyer will have 14 days in which to have the puppy examined by his or her own veterinarian. During that time the puppy may be returned for a 75% refund, provided the puppy is returned in the same condition as on the date of sale. If the puppy is returned due to illness, a letter from the veterinarian is required. This includes death or illness from any health condition deemed to be present prior to the leaving the seller’s premises. Buyer shall assume any expenses associated with returning the puppy to the seller. Seller reserves the right to have the dog re-examined by our veterinarian at our cost. Any condition that is minor, correctable, or a breed related minor condition is not covered and no condition that could go away, or is considered to be a condition that a puppy will likely grow out of is covered.
This puppy is being sold as a family pet and will be spayed or neutered prior to their second birthday. Puppy is warranted for purpose of being a companion animal. While it may be capable of performing other functions, no guarantee is given as to its fitness or any type of competition.
*Every reasonable precaution has been taken to prevent this puppy from acquiring hereditary hip or elbow dysplasia, cataracts, or cardiac issues. Sire and Dam are certified by the OFA for hips and elbows and heart and eyes are also checked. Because of all the genetic factors involved we cannot guarantee that your puppy with be without hereditary defects. However, if health disorders of suspected genetic cause arise in the puppy before the age of 24 months the Seller should be consulted. If the puppy develops crippling hip dysplasia or a condition related to heart, eyes, hips, or elbows deemed to be purely genetic within 24 months, a full refund will be given. Puppy must be diagnosed by a board certified cardiologist, radiology specialist, and/or an ophthalmologist and Seller reserves the right to have puppy reexamined.
*Each puppy is given a packet of information. Included are AKC papers/documents and it is up to the owner to register his/her puppy. Puppies are sold on an AKC limited registration and are not to be used for breeding without consent of Seller. Also included is a copy of Sire and Dam’s OFA certification and Pedigree papers.
*Buyer agrees to maintain this puppy/dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, inoculation, internal and external parasites, and - where indicated - heartworm preventative medication. Buyer further agrees to provide proper exercise in order to maintain this puppy/dog in proper weight and physical shape. A proper diet consists of quality puppy/dog food and supplements.
